Quick info about turmeric
Turmeric available to ship in Mid February. While it is possible that we may have it in stock a little earlier it's not guaranteed.
Turmeric will not sprout any faster if planted in February vs. March. The internal clock is strong with this one.
It takes generally 6-8 weeks and sometimes longer to initiate. COLD AND WET WILL SLOW IT DOWN. Its best to air dry in your cozy house for a few weeks before planting. It takes forever to sprout yet we have growers in the far north who are successful in cultivating turmeric.
