This Southeast Asian variety has small rhizomes that are rich in curcumins - about 7%-10% in dried samples according to our tests. Fingers are about 1/3 the size of ‘Hawaiian Red Variety’ and yields are less than half. Good for medicinal uses or for preparing really authentic Thai or Burmese dishes. Dark orange in color.
